Hearing Services
Diagnostic Audiologic Evaluations
We provide comprehensive audiological evaluations for anyone with hearing concerns. These services are diagnostic medical tests and are used to differentiate between hearing loss due to a medical condition and those due to noise exposure, genetics, or the normal aging process. All our testing is done in a sound treated booth and consists of pure tone sound testing, accuracy to speech understanding, and your ability to understand speech with competing noise.
Live Speech Mapping
Live speech mapping is a test used to help during the hearing aid fitting process. Live speech mapping uses probe microphones and real-time speech to allow the patient and their family members to immediately see and understand the benefits of hearing aids and fitting adjustments.
Tinnitus Management
Commonly known as “ringing in the ears,” tinnitus can range from mildly annoying to debilitating. Tinnitus is when you hear a ringing, buzzing, humming, whooshing, or whistling sound in your ears or head when no external sound is present. We offer solutions to help alleviate the ringing in your ears and can help you overcome your symptoms of tinnitus.
Hearing Aid Fittings and Consultations
We work with many different manufacturers to offer a wide range of hearing aids. After we've evaluated your hearing, we can recommend hearing aids that will be most helpful for your individual hearing loss and your needs.
Hearing Aid Adjustments and Repairs
If something isn't working right with your hearing aids, bring them in and we'll make any necessary adjustments. We can do some repairs in-office or we can send your hearing aids to the manufacturer for more complex repairs if necessary.
Custom-Fit Hearing Protection
We can take molds of your ears to create custom earplugs, swimming plugs, and in-ear monitors for musicians. We also provide electronic hearing protection and enhancement products for hunters. Custom hearing protection is crucial if you are often exposed to loud sounds.
Pediatric Audiology
Approximately 1 in every 1,000 children are born with hearing loss. About 50-60% of these cases can be attributed to genetics. Other cases can be attributed to infections during pregnancy, such as Cytomegalovirus (CMV), other environmental causes, or complications after birth.

If your child has hearing loss, we can help with approaches that are specialized to pediatrics. Management of childhood hearing loss should take a TEAM approach. We will work with you and your child to provide the best treatment and intervention services possible.
